We’ve probably all heard that gratitude is one of the main keys to receiving your desires.

It’s true that the frequency of gratitude is magnetic. It impacts our energy field. It even impacts our physical body.

Gratitude feels almost like magic.

But sometimes…it’s a bit hard to maintain, right? 

Especially when you feel like you need to force it.

A couple of days ago, during a breathwork session, I got hit with some of the most potent clarity that shifted my entire perspective on gratitude.

The clarity offered a point of view that, quite honestly, eliminates the need to ever force gratitude when it comes to our desires.

Before we dive into that, just a quick refresher:

Our desires were placed in our heart because we are meant to have them. To experience them in this lifetime.

Our dream life is the destiny our soul chose for us.

We can say no to it if we want to. We can take a different path. But if we follow our soul’s guidance, if we choose to accept this incredible life, then it is ours. Because it has been ours before we were even born.

Those are Truths with a capital T.

Desires are the communication from our soul. They are something that transcends the 3D. And they most definitely aren’t random. Nor are they placed in our hearts to fuck with us or make us miserable.

And this brings me to the download I received.

If our desires are something we’re meant to have, then why on earth would we feel anything but gratitude for them? 

Why feel anything else than a huge THANK YOU, SOUL for choosing this for my lifetime?

Because think about it, how amazing is the vision of your dream life? How amazing are your desires? How incredible is the version of you who’s living out their full potential?

I can say for myself with absolute certainty that my dream life is a thing of such beauty that, when I think about it from a pure state of mind, it always fills my entire heart with so much love and wonder, it’s hard to even put it into words.

But reality is often different, isn’t it?

We get frustrated when our manifestations aren’t happening. We get sad when our actions don’t bring the results we hoped they would.

We get impatient. 

Our dream life maybe even starts to feel like nothing but a struggle. Nothing but failure. It starts to hurt. 

Because we get caught in the how.

I feel like I’m always coming back to this, except every time I’m peeling off a deeper layer. But us getting caught in the how truly is one of the core things that trips us up and makes manifestation so much harder than it needs to be.

To take this deeper, let’s do a quick self-check & thought experiment:

For a moment, think about a soul’s desire that hasn’t manifested in your physical reality yet.

Now consider how you feel about it.

If you’re excited because you know it’s coming, then you’re good. Your manifestation is on its way and with that energy, I have no doubts you’ll receive it soon.

But if you feel maybe a bit discouraged, frustrated, sad, doubtful, stressed, tired, all because maybe you’ve already done so much and yet your desire still isn’t here…then the next part is what I want you to take to heart because it will attune you right back to the frequency of gratitude.

That desire is something your soul chose.

It is meant for you.

Your soul could have chosen anything, any damn thing as part of your destiny…

…and yet it decided that your beautiful desired manifestation is what you’re destined for.

Doesn’t that stir so much gratitude within you?

Out of everything this world has to offer, you are destined for that?!?

If the ego wants to speak up, if old conditioning or limiting beliefs want to rear their heads, just bench them for a moment and come back to this absolute gift you’ve been given.

Your soul and the Universe have already signed the deal.

If you want it, it’s yours.

It is guaranteed.

And receiving it is requires no more effort than following the maps app on your phone as you walk through the city to the car dealership to pick up your brand new vehicle.

Think about it, if this was a car we were talking about – paid in full, all papers signed, ownership already in your name…

Would you stress about how you’ll ever be able to become the owner of such car?

Ridiculous, right? You already are the owner.

You just need to pick it up from the lot.

And your intuition is the GPS on your phone, giving you simple step-by-step directions to follow.

Now I won’t go too deep into that aspect here, just because I want to keep us focused on the certainty and the gratitude, but let’s say that the path might not look like you imagined. And the more turns you miss because you were distracted, the longer it might take you to actually arrive…but you will arrive at your destination.

The car is already in your name.

And it is waiting for you.

Remember that with every desire that you have.

Your soul chose these incredible things as part of your destiny.

So next time, when you start to feel a bit discouraged or you find yourself getting stressed over your manifestations, remember what a gift and a blessing it is that they are meant for you.

Your soul decided to give you the most incredible, fulfilling things and experiences as part of this life. 

Allow yourself to feel blessed.

Allow yourself to grin from ear to ear.

And allow your heart to fill up with gratitude.

Because yes, life really is that amazing.
