The perfect matcha

Frothy green uji ceremonial grade matcha in a white cup

I began drinking matcha around three years ago – admittedly due to me seeing the pretty, frothy green color and falling heads over heals in love with it. I mean, what aesthetically-driven Libra Rising wouldn’t be a total sucker for a gorgeous sight like that, right?

The decision was made. I had to try this out.

Unfortunately, while my first experiences already provided the benefits for my mind and body (mental clarity, more concentration, steadier energy levels throughout the day), neither the aesthetics of the matcha nor (far worse) the taste of the matcha were quite there.

Since I drink it straight, the quality of the powder couldn’t lie. And despite me only buying ceremonial grade products, the end result always came out less than desirable – too dark, lacking flavor, bitter, clumpy, refusing to froth at all. I was starting to think that perfect cup I craved was only possible with matcha lattes…

Until I got my hands on the Organic Ceremonial Uji Matcha by Erbology.

It was one of those “well let’s try it and see” purchases…and from zero expectations came the manifestation of my dream matcha.

Brilliant green frothy color, the rich, pleasant, and oh so smooth, creamy taste I always hoped for.

I’m also in love with their amber glass jar packaging and the fact that the flavor doesn’t diminish even after the initial thirty days (yes, I’m still absolutely shocked it lasts me such a long time especially since I have a cup every single way).

Best side win that also deserves a mention here: I even got my husband hooked on it now because it really is that good!

I originally brought the Erbology matcha on Amazon but since it’s not always in stock there, I’m linking their website – plus you get to check out all the other amazing products they offer that I’m testing out right now.

And enjoy! 🍵
